Biennial Update

The biennial update is an FMCSA requirement of all entities under its jurisdiction, i.e. owner operators, to update their USDOT number and information, even if no details have changed. If you are a motor carrier and don’t update your information every two years, you could be subject to a fine or your USDOT number could be inactivated.
